Diesel Tire and Lube Technician Training
About the Course
The Diesel Tire & Lube Technician Training (Diesel Bootcamp) is an introductory, in-person
program that provides foundational diesel training through two structured modules:
- Preventative Maintenance (4 weeks)
- Heavy Vehicle Brakes (4 weeks)
Students learn safety procedures, inspection techniques, system fundamentals, and hands-on service skills, including tire service, lubrication, braking systems, and preventative maintenance practices. Training is designed to prepare students for entry-level diesel technician roles and continued education in diesel technology.
Admission Requirements
Participants must be at least 16 years of age to enroll.
No high school diploma or GED required.
Course Cost: $800
Upon successful completion, students will receive a certificate of completion and an NC3 PMI Multimeter Certification. Students may also be eligible for Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) credit toward the Diesel Technology program at Wallace State.
